Guns n Spurs is a third-person action and adventure game where you play Johnny, a lone cowboy from the wild west, who's out for vengeance for the murder of his wife at the hands of outlaws.
You can move freely throughout the wild west, visiting different settlements and riding your horse through the desert. In the settlements, you can interact with different characters and also enter certain buildings, like the saloons and the sheriff's office. You can also take out your guns and start a shootout with anyone on the street ... although then you'll have to run away from the law.
Just like in Red Dead Redemption (and other sandbox games), you can complete tons of main and secondary missions. You can even participate in horse races on the way to your destination. You can also find a minigame or two to pass the time.
Guns n Spurs is an excellent, original, and atypical sandbox game that offers a game experience that's much closer to what you'd normally get from a console than a touchscreen device.
